The Brief
Craig Gowan House is a Grade B listed former Baronial mansion and is situated in an elevated position overlooking Broughty Ferry with spectacular views over the River Tay Estuary.
This period property was restored and sympathetically converted to form six individual homes each retaining many original features with the addition of new windows, doors, flooring and internal decoration throughout.
The Results
We were commissioned to manufacture the replacement timber windows and doors for this project ensuring the highest levels of historic detail were replicated in the new components.
The windows were manufactured in a traditional sash and case format; combining the vernacular of historic windows with high energy performance including narrow glazing sightlines, slim astragals and ultra-thin double glazing.
