Our History

As a business we can trace our roots back to 1872. We are a six-generation family business based in rural Angus. The business was originally started as wheelwrights by our current chairman’ Alexander Sturrock’s fore-fathers to meet the needs of the local market.

A lot has changed since those early years; innovation being key to the business over the years has resulted in the company becoming Scotland’s premier manufacturer of high specification timber components for the nation’s premier projects. What hasn’t changed over the years though, is an ethos of hard work and an unerring attention to detail and quality in everything that we do.
