The former Baxter Brothers jute mill on Constable Street, Dundee (once the empire of the Baxter brothers who, between 1840-90, rose to be the world's first linen manufacturers. Lower Dens was built from Baxter's own foundry, consisting of four fireproof flax mills). The Victorian building was acquired by a leading hotel management company and undertook extensive renovation and restoration work to turn it into a boutique hotel and serviced apartment complex.
Hotel Indigo, Dundee, boasts 102 guest rooms, while the Staybridge Suites will have 85 apartments.
